Couldn’t have had a better experience with Goldart. They rebuilt my grandmothers engagement ring before proposing to my wife and it looks perfect. We have been back for wedding bands, cleaning and repairs of other pieces that come back flawless. The staff are so warm and knowledgeable they guided me through step by step.

I have purchased many items from Goldart over the years and have also had some items repaired and designed by Joanna & Mark. The quality of their workmanship is second to none in Ottawa. I highly recommend going to see their shop in The Glebe. They have a number of their designs on display and if you don't have an idea of what you want, Joanna will draw up something for you! Had the opportunity to do a visit to the store because my wristwatch needed some adjustment, unfortunately after making lots of calls downtown I wasn’t able to get a walk in appointment, but Mark (the owner) was so amazing, he asked me to come in and he was able to adjust my watch and he ensured that i was satisfied with the outcome. The most surprising part was he wouldn’t take any payment. “It’s on the house”. 😀 I totally recommend everyone to check out this store and patronize them. The customer service was 10/10 and the ambiance was also very pleasant. They also have a wide array of jewelry selections and gem stones. I’d be coming back for sure ! Truly overjoyed by the repair service at Goldart. I wish I had taken a "before" picture of this vintage garnet heirloom ring. It looks like a brand new ring, but the setting is the original vintage. The work done is truly incredible. I'll describe the wretched state this ring was in since I don't have a before picture. The band was bent significantly on one side, and had worn down paper thin on the centre and snapped. The stove looked black or was so scratched up from decades of wear. It was now unwearable with the broken band. The first jeweler I approached said the only solution was to melt it down - but I wanted to keep the integrity as much as possible since it was my mother's baby ring. I also inquired at two separate places and been told it was impossible to even polish the stone without dismantling the ring. This ring will easily shine for decades with more wear. The band looks perfect again. Better than I've ever seen it. I'm looking forward to one day handing this down to my daughter now. Thank you Goldart!

I have been a client of Goldart since 1988. Over this time I have always found the staff and service to be excellent. I have had custom made things for both my wife and myself. The personal service, the willingness to obtain more unusual stones and to listen to ideas we have had as a couple have proven exceptional to us and I have recommended this Studio to many of my friends and acquaintances.
